KENYA SAFARIS
Situated along the East Coast of Africa, Kenya boasts approximately 480 kilometers of ‘talcum powder’ white sandy beaches, (coastal capital, Mombasa) whilst inland the landscape is as varied as Kenya’s history.

The terrain varies from the lunar spectacle of Lake Turkana to the semi-arid desert of the Northern Frontier in Samburu & Meru. The vast Savannah landscapes of the Masai Mara, to the secretive reaches of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Forest, where natural bamboo cathedrals loom above weaving pathways, known only to wildlife. The Rift valley forges a gorge the length of Kenya, winding a path through Africa as though gouged out by a mammoth earthmover. The descending view of this natural break in the earth’s surface, which began approximately 15 billion years ago is breathtaking and fills one’s view with the great rift lakes, including Lake Nakuru - host to over 1 million flamingoes! Towards the coast the volcanic ashen landscape of Amboseli and the red ochre soil of Tsavo stretch across the forefront of Mt Kilimanjaro, neighboring Tanzania.
If it is more than a beach holiday you want, Mombasa also offers color, intrigue and trip through history. Its shores have attracted Chinese and Persian Traders, Portuguese explorers and missionaries and Arab slave Traders; as far as fourteen hundred years ago. The coast also offers an exciting range water sports, including competitive deep sea fishing and scuba diving. Spoilt for choice of scenery, one thing is for sure - there is something to suit everybody in Kenya and no doubt you will return to pick up from whence you left!
